The Midland 28 is a mid-range model with 2” LCD color display and seven selectable colors. With digital squelch for clear conversations, 12/24 V power supply for use in both cars and trucks and noise suppression at three levels, it is versatile. Midland 28 combines tradition and innovation in a single high-quality solution.

The LCD color display is one of the most striking new features: It is twice the size of the Model 18 and Midland 28 offers seven selectable colors, ensuring better visibility and readability, which is especially helpful in changing light conditions. The built-in VOX allows hands-free operation and the new microphone offers excellent modulation. The built-in digital squelch and three-stage noise suppression ensure communication with the best possible intelligibility.
