The Albrecht AE 6491 VOX multi-standard CB radio is characterized by its very simple installation and can be used throughout Europe: The high-quality device offers 40 AM as well as 40 (80) FM channels and complies with all European radio standards. In addition, the Albrecht AE 6491 VOX multinorm CB radio can be connected both to 12 volts and directly to 24 volts. A 24V/12V voltage converter is therefore unnecessary. Installation is also extremely simple: the shallow installation depth of the Albrecht AE 6491 VOX and the DIN installation frame included in the scope of delivery make the device ideal for installation in trucks or cars. The powerful 3-watt front loudspeaker ensures a powerful and clear sound, making an additional loudspeaker superfluous.

The Albrecht AE 6491 VOX offers particular convenience thanks to its intuitive operation. The display of this multi-standard CB radio impresses with its clarity and large horizontal and vertical viewing angle. The display illumination can be switched between the colors green and amber as required. There are additional up, down and ASQ buttons on the microphone. The automatic squelch function guarantees interference-free reception. The CTCSS function of the Albrecht AE 6491 VOX can suppress the hearing of external radio traffic.

The WP-24 hands-free kit allows you to use the Albrecht CB radios AE 6490 CT, AE 6491 CT, AE 6491 VOX and AE 6491 NRC without having to take your hands off the steering wheel.

The remote control can be easily mounted on the steering wheel and has a range of up to 7 meters.

Simply attach the supplied microphone close to the driver (e.g. sun visor) and connect the receiver to the radio's microphone socket and you're ready to go.

The remote control can also be used to select the channels and switch ASQ on/off.

The microphone sensitivity can be continuously adjusted according to the distance.

From 2020, legislation stipulates that car and truck drivers who wish to use the radio at the wheel must use a hands-free set for safety reasons. With an AE 6490/91 and the WP 24, Albrecht already offers a future-proof solution.
